Heavily-Guarded Fountain (Barcelona, Spain):
Pictured: Gord and Charlene Butler
Comment: Jeff was right. Most were slimy and well guarded by policia. Gord really wanted to jump in many times and have his picture taken for Jeff. I put the brakes on that! I could just see Gord in handcuffs and us not being able to speak the language. Cruise ships wait for no one!
Anyway, here is a photo of us in Barcelona, at a fountain at the Olympic site, Monday, August 22, 05.

Nice Fountain (Nice, France):
Jumper: Chuck Butler
Photographer: Barbara Butler
Comment: Nice fountain in Nice. Not being up with the trend, we neglected to go for full submersion. Cut us some slack, we were rookies...if only there had been a book...

These pictures were actually taken about eight years in advance, but hey... it's a nice fountain. And a Nice one, too.

As deemed by Jeff: World's Coldest Fountain (Lugano, Switzerland):
Jumper: Terri Lynn Ackerman
Videographer: Stefano Marella
Comment: Even though it was August, the fountain was still really cold. Not the coldness of which Jeff speaks but, still cold. But the thing that impressed me so much was it's depth. We're talking above knee height here. I was thinking it was shallow, boy was I surprised, I spent the afternoon walking around with quite wet pants, thankfully not jeans, they never would have dried. There were some people staring as got out of the fountain, but who cares. I did it for Jeff. And the fact that I could pay tribute to him by going in a fountain that he had been in made it that much better. You'll always have a special part in my heart, Jeff Chapman.
Your best friend,
Terri Lynn Ackerman

Finger Fountain (Ljubljana, Slovenia):
Jumper: Craig Taylor
Photographer: Marc Gilman
Comment: The reasons I didn't get in are:
A) we were being watched
B) you can get killed in Eastern Europe for things like that
C) I wasn't wearing good underwear
D) it was fucking freezing
E) I'm all about subtlety
F) I thought Jeff would appreciate a reenactment of his favorite pop song: '(I've Got My) Finger In A Slovenian Fountain' by Corey Hart.
